Our cooking equipment is a mix of cutting-edge options and some of the same equipment we’ve been using for decades, and we use special storage facilities and temperature- and humidity-controlled trucks. After perfecting our chocolates (don’t take our word for it, come try them yourselves and let us know how good they are!), we expanded to include ice cream as part of our core offerings in 1985. Like everything else we do, we only use high-quality ingredients to create our Super-Premium frozen treats.
Not only are our ice creams Kosher-certified, but we also get our ingredients from local family farms to ensure they’re as fresh and rich as possible. We take that premium base ice cream and mix it with delicious inclusions like chocolate, fudge, caramel, nuts, and more. Kilwins takes the utmost care in transporting our ice cream to each of our locations across the country.
Our ice cream is expertly frozen into customized tubs to ensure quality during shipment, and we ship it in our own temperature-controlled trucks to maintain optimum quality throughout every step of the process. Since we first started using our original recipe, we’ve slowly added flavors to our Portsmouth parlor to cater to palates across the flavor spectrum.
