Driven by their love of all things sweet, founders Don and Katy Kilwin got into the dessert business back in 1947. They started by selling chocolates and baked goods before they were able to grow into the Kilwins products we know today. Among this historic lineup are our proprietary TUTTLE™ Nut Clusters, Chocolate Bark, and, of course, our Original Recipe Ice Cream.
Here at Kilwins, we combine old-school techniques with modern technology. We have mastered the art of dipping and decorating all our desserts by hand since our doors first opened. For example, doing everything by hand while investing in temperature-controlled vehicles and storage facilities is our recipe for success. Our Holland chocolate store always puts our best foot forward and makes our treats look and taste exactly how our founders envisioned.
We have three simple values: Treat others the way you want to be treated, do your best, and have fun. We apply these values in our everyday operations as we strive to become the best versions of ourselves and create desserts that create joy and positivity.

Kilwins has been using recipes from the founders, Don and Katy Kilwin themselves. We uphold the tradition of sticking to the recipe we know while also innovating and coming up with new ones along the way. The result is a wide range of treats with flavors everyone can enjoy.
Kilwins controls the entire process, from handcrafting each piece to ensuring they end up on store shelves looking and tasting absolutely perfect. Our Holland chocolate store uses a mix of both new equipment and some Heritage equipment (that dates way back to the 40s).

At Kilwins, we run and operate our own climate-controlled vehicles to transport our ice cream. Our packaging is also specialized to maintain an ideal temperature and consistency. Every step of the process is carefully monitored so that the first bite of ice cream is flawless every time.
