We bring a Tennessee flair to our premier Franklin chocolate store while upholding the Kilwins tradition rooted in Michigan. Take, for example, our Mackinac Island Fudge—a Michigan-born staple that is over 100 years old. This famous treat has earned Mackinac Island the title of “Fudge Capital of the World.”
Not far from where Mackinac Island Fudge originated, another candy legacy was getting started. Don and Katy Kilwin loved this Mackinac Island staple and committed to bringing it to people all over. Don Kilwin believed in the art of making fudge “the Mackinac way”—on a marble table, with love and care. Thanks to Don and Katy’s passion, you can get a taste of this iconic treat

We make it from premium ingredients and keep it stored in the most carefully monitored temperature-controlled units. We make and keep it in customized containers to protect the texture and taste on the road and in the store.
Every day could mean something different at Kilwins. Our classics, the Heritage Chocolates (white, dark, and milk), are always available in bar form unless we sell out. The most popular chocolates at the Franklin Kilwins almost depend on the day. Since we have so many seasonal specials, sometimes certain products are more popular than others. However, we always see a good amount of dark chocolate, milk chocolate, and white chocolate leave the door with happy shoppers. Our TUTTLE™ Nut Caramels are also a huge hit.
