Kilwins became a bright spot in Naples in 2020. Ever since, the Naples-Mercato ice cream store has served area customers interested in cooling down with ice cream on a warm day, sharing some chocolate with a friend, treating themselves to sugary happiness, or buying some of the Mackinac Island Fudge that quickly became an area favorite.
It’s hard to think of Kilwins without thinking about our Heritage chocolates. These chocolates have a rich taste and a rich history; the recipe dates back to 1947. You’ll find Heritage chocolate not only in boxed and bark form; we also drizzle it on some of our caramel apples. When you order a caramel apple, expect a flawless Granny Smith apple hand-dipped in caramel made in an old-fashioned copper kettle. At Kilwins, we respect traditional cooking methods and bring them to our Naples-Mercato chocolate store every day.

Perhaps our favorite aspect of our Naples-Mercato location is the community we serve. Residents are welcoming, and we love getting to know everyone who walks in our door. It’s a beautiful area where palm trees sway in the breeze outside the multitude of shops and eateries. Pull up a seat outside at one of our tables, do some people (and pet) watching, and enjoy the sunshine.
There are many stores to explore in the Mercato shopping and dining complex. Grab a bag of Kilwins freshly popped caramel corn or a caramel apple and do some window shopping. Or, if you have a day of errands planned, enjoy some toffee while making your way to your destination and conquer your to-do list.
The Mercato events calendar is always full, and our ice cream, fudge, and chocolate are the perfect complements to whatever is on your schedule. Make sure to pick up extra snacks to share at a movie or live show and bring home with you after.
For example, the Paragon Pavilion + Axis15 movie theater is close to our location. As you're heading to the movies, stop by Kilwins first to have an ice cream cone or a slice of fudge before your film starts. And, of course, nothing says “movie time” like a bag of caramel corn.

Kilwins sets the standard for high-quality desserts, and that includes ice cream. The Naples-Mercato ice cream store is relatively new, but our Kilwins Original Recipe Ice Cream isn’t. It dates back to 1985, which means countless customers have given it their stamp of approval. We make our ice cream with premier ingredients and top them off with incredible additions like Mackinac Island Fudge, hand-paddled on marble countertops, and caramel sauce, hand-poured in copper kettles.
Five-star ice cream isn’t only about the initial recipe, it’s also about keeping the ice cream perfect. As lovely as Naples is, it can certainly get hot, particularly during summer. We don’t take any chances when it comes to the quality of our products.
Kilwins uses temperature-controlled ice cream vans and custom ice cream tubs to protect the ice cream’s integrity, especially since we put so much work in using fresh ingredients in our recipes. (We get the cream and milk from local, highly-trusted family farms.)
While we’re at it, we also make our own waffle bowls and waffle cones right in our Naples-Mercato ice cream store. Our outstanding reputation is important to us, whether it's about the products we serve, how much patrons enjoyed what they ordered, and how excited customers are to return.

Ice cream might melt in the Naples heat by the time you get it to your loved one’s house, but a gift card won’t.
