Don and Katy Kilwins founded Kilwins in 1947, starting with the first shop in Petoskey, Michigan. They wanted to bring high-quality desserts for their neighbors. From the beginning, our homemade fudge and chocolates were incredibly popular.
A focus on craftsmanship and an exceptional customer experience led to the Kilwins name spreading from locals to tourists and beyond. Our stores soon followed, including our Hyannis chocolate store. To this day, we're known for our rich, hand-crafted desserts and snacks and are proud of every truffle and caramel we've made.
