Many of our products are handcrafted by our team of professional confectioners. We use old proprietary recipes that were developed by our founders in the 1940s. Each product is specially made using first-rate ingredients and made with love.

In 1947, Don and Katy Kilwin opened the first Kilwins store in Michigan, which allowed them to share their passion for candy-making with others. Today, Kilwins is proud to call Philadelphia home.

The smells of chocolate, fudge, and waffle cones are enough to make your mouth water. The waffle cones, like our fudge and many chocolates, are made by hand. While we’ve added and upgraded our appliances to meet growing demand and modern possibilities, we believe that maintaining the classic tools is a large part of what makes our Kilwins chocolates so special.
Looking for fruit with a new flavor? Try the Kilwins caramel apples, all made right here in our store. We call them our perfect caramel apples because of their taste and appearance—basically, they’re flawless.
We only select the best Granny Smith apples to be our base, which we hand-dip in our handcrafted caramel. The result is a delicious piece of caramel goodness that can also be enjoyed with a coating of milk chocolate, nuts, and more.
